Reading's Ebony White is headed to East Stroudsburg University

Ebony White started playing soccer when she was four years old.  Her hard work and dedication has paid off.  The Reading High School senior is going to continue playing in college at East Stroudsburg University.  “I’m really excited. It’s been a dream since I was little,” said White.  The All-Division selection had eleven goals and three assists this season.  She played center midfielder for the Red Knights.  White is also excelling in the classroom.  She has a 3.7 GPA. White gives credit to her mother for driving her to succeed both athletically and academically.  “She’s done a lot of things for me. Where I’m at right now, I would not have been here without her. She has definitely been a big factor in my life,” emphasized White.

SV Sports spoke with White about her decision to commit to East Stroudsburg and play Division II soccer.  She also talked about her favorite teachers and musical performers.
