Wyomissing Spartans shut out Lampeter-Strasburg

The Wyomissing Spartans captured the Section 4 championship in the Lancaster-Lebanon League by shutting out Lampeter-Strasburg 21-0 on Saturday afternoon.  Matthew Kramer ran for a team-high 86 yards and two scores.  The (10-0) Spartans held the (8-2) Pioneers to 78 total yards and five first downs.  Wyomissing completed its 11th undefeated regular season in program history.  The Spartans have won 35 consecutive regular season games, a Berks County record.  They're ranked #1 in the state in Class 3A.
We spoke with 6'5, 300-pound senior Jven Williams.  The Penn State commit is the top-rated player in Pennsylvania and #56 overall, according to ESPN.  Williams helped Wyomissing rush for 259 yards against Lampeter-Strasburg.
